Ileostomy Closure: 1

A 34-year-old man was returned to the operating room for closure of a diverting loop ileostomy three months after total colectomy and J-pouch for ulcerative colitis (see total colectomy and J-pouch for ulcerative colitis ). Gastrografin study of the pouch was normal. The low midline abdominal incision and ileostomy are shown.
