Laparoscopic Distal Pancreatectomy for Pancreatic Mucinous Cystic Neoplasm: 1
A 35-year-old woman was found to have a cystic lesion of the tail of the pancreas following a bout of gallstone pancreatitis. The lesion was presumed to be a pseudocyst and was observed. It enlarged in size over the course of a year.

The lesion displaces and compresses the splenic vein posteriorly.
