Two 10 mm ports were placed in the left subcostal position. One additional port (5 mm) was placed in the right subcostal space at the lateral edge of the rectus muscle, and directed through the falciform ligament toward the left side.

The hernia was reduced hand over hand using blunt forceps on the stomach. Adhesions of stomach and omentum to sac were divided with the ultrasonic dissector.
