The 120 degree arc of front wall is completed with a bisecting stitch at the 9:00 position. Great care must be taken to avoid catching the back wall with this stitch.

The Louisville clamp is flipped over, stabilizing the near cleat end to avoid damaging the vessel.

The 3:00 stitch is placed, holding up the adventitia of the right vessel end with a forceps to get a clear view of the wall.
