The sublimis tendon to the ring finger is isolated through a palmar incision 3mm proximal to the proximal palmar flexion crease.

It is pulled into the wound, and divided at the limbs of the bifurcation.

The tendon is isolated at the wrist taking care not to injure the adjacent median nerve. The cut end is pulled through the carpal tunnel and delivered.
