A choledocho-jejunostomy was made using interrupted 4-0 absorbable monofilament suture. The loop was suspended with serosal sutures of 4-0 silk.

The gastroenterostomy was created downstream from the biliary anastomosis by anastomosing the Roux loop to the posterior greater curve of the stomach. The procedure was completed by anastomosing the proximal jejunum to the Roux limb below the transverse mesocolon.
