Repeat counts over the excised accessory spleen were one third of the in vivo measurement, demonstrating that the radiation was from the adjacent adenoma.
Ten-second gamma counts were taken over the spleen and all areas of the pancreas. The areas identified by pre-op CT and octreotide scan were the hottest. There were no other nodules or hot spots identified in the pancreas, and there was no evidence of metastatic disease.
