A 50-year-old female was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma of the upper lip via shave biopsy. She now presents for removal of the BCC and removal of several other suspicious lesions on the face. The patient was scheduled for excision of the lesions with V-F advancement flap closure on the upper left lip under general anesthesia.

Four other small lesions scattered across the patient's face were excised. They were primarily closed using 6-0 Prolene. Each of the lesions were excised using Langher's lines as a guide.

Subsequently, attention was given to the basal cell lesion which was situated next to the patient's left naris. The dimensions of the lesion were marked (1.8 x 1.7 cm) along with the dimensions of the flap (5x 3 cm).
