The lateral head of the gastrocnemius is mobilized and rotated to cover the lateral side of the prosthesis. The yellow outline indicates the lateral head of the gastrocnemius.

The soleus was sutured to the tibialis anterior of the anterior compartment to fully cover the endoprosthesis.
