A D V E R T I S E M E N T
A 68-year-old woman undergoing chemotherapy for metastatic lung cancer presented with abdominal distention. She was immunocompromised from the chemotherapy. Abdominal film showed massively distended colon and some small bowel. Colonoscopy showed a narrowing at the rectosigmoid junction with no mucosal lesion. Endoscopic decompression was not successful and the patient showed signs of increasing toxicity.
