A 26-year-old man developed abdominal compartment syndrome following abdominal trauma. He was left with an large ventral defect with an interim closure of acellular cadaveric collagen matrix. The matrix was sewn to the medial edges of the rectus sheath (divided linea alba). The extend of the defect is shown.
