A D V E R T I S E M E N T
A 23-year-old woman presented with multiple axillary and inframammary abscesses secondary to hidradenitis suppurativa. The abscesses were incised and drained in the operating room on presentation. Cultures grew staph aureus that was not methacillin-resistant. The patient was returned to the operating room two days post drainage for definitive debridement of the involved areas.
