The metastatic workup including PET scan showed no evidence of metastasis. Colonoscopy was normal. Upper endoscopy was non-diagnostic with biopsy showing normal mucosa. The patient was taken to the operating room with a presumptive diagnosis of duodenal neoplasm, possible carcinoma, lymphoma, MALT, GIST or submucosal lipoma.
