Excellent filling of the middle cerebral circulation is shown. The cerebral oxygen monitor was left in place when the cranium was closed. The patient’s fluid volume was regulated to maintain euvolemia or slight hypervolemia and the patient’s blood pressure within 10% of pre-operative level post operatively. The patient was administered dextran at 20 cc per hr. x 24 hrs and placed on 365mg of ASA daily to help ensure graft patency. The femoral sheath was removed on PO day 1.
