A 34-year-old woman presented with pancreatitis. Ultrasound showed cholelithiasis. Bilirubin was not elevated. The patient was treated conservatively and the pancreatitis resolved.

Forty-eight hours after admission, the patient was taken to the operating room for laparoscopic cholecystectomy (see laparoscopic cholecystectomy). The fundus was grasped and elevated.
